What are these?
They are the Zagros Mountains. Fascinating to look at, colors and strange protruding shapes. Folks you are actually looking at salt. Yes, these are salt deposits in the shape of huge domes. Scripture declares salt to be a sanctifying ledger. A sanctifying ledger? Yes. "Do you not know that יהוה the Elohim of Israel gave the rule over Israel forever to Dawid and his sons by a covenant of SALT?"

I'd like to open you up to a world - one unusual in nature and take you into its spiritual cavity.
You see, the past is a location within the fabric of earth's memory. All is recorded, all is telling. I'll begin with the power of salt. I'll begin with one grain and its value for life.
In this article I will show you spiritual and earthly connections between salt relationships (covenants) to different substances on earth as well as to our body - sharing knowledge and inner spiritual purpose.
We know that salt comes from either sea water or the sodium chloride mineral halite (that is rock salt). The Israelites used salt from the Dead Sea, seen in the photo below (Actual name: Salt Sea) because it is far from dead - it is rich with an essential mineral of life salt - oh the irony that people would call it the dead sea out here in the West, when in Hebrew it is called the salt sea for a reason.
SALT IS LIFE.
The lamp photo to the right is evidence of how salt and water function to produce light. Make no mistake, the light within our body-temple isn't just salt and water - but also a circumcised heart resulting in spiritual purity - the power of The Word surging within our physical tent. The Word is a gift to our being.
"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."
James 1:17

The Covenant of Salt is a consecrating covenant. It also contains our liability and life's records.
It is a treaty and a bond to The Maker, it is registered in the Book of LIFE
It is pure.
The covenant of salt is clean in its spiritual intent and a nourishing promise. So why am I sharing this with you? Because I want you to see the vast array of these crystals that exists all over the earth. I want you to see Abba's splendor and view what salt looks like not just in Israel, but in other regions. These salt deposits are found in Iran. Iran is located in the Persian Gulf. (Book of Daniel, Kings etc)
It is interesting to learn how over the years ocean water evaporated or retreated exposing vast quantities of salt that remained underneath. We are talking about many thousands of feet tall mountain sediment washed down in the rain - thus compacting it into strange looking structures.
What is salt's connection to water? Scripture tells us that Elohim's Spirit hovered over the waters of the abyss, these are deep waters - however sea waters are not deep waters, they are the upper edges of the deep abyss - these sea waters came after land was brought forth and water receded:
Genesis 1:9 בראשית
And Elohim said,
“Let the waters under the sky be gathered into one place,
so that the dry land may appear.”
And it was so.
Elohim called the dry land “earth,”
and the gathering of waters He called “seas.”
And Elohim saw that it was good.
👉 Note: that these seas contain sea salt.
Why is this important to us?
Because salt is a special symbol.
Did you know that seawater or saltwater helps produce light?
This was insightful to me. Salt helps produce light?
It amazed me to know that it also produces a specific electrical charge.
Almost all of our cells can use this charge to generate electricity.
Our body temple is filled with electricity produced through different elements but the salt
👉 is a spiritual one.
It is purifying.
It is carried within the water of our body
Matthew 5:13
"You are the salt of the earth etc..."
Matthew 5:14
"You are the light of the world."
"A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house"
Notice: the mention of a lamp in this verse?
It is interesting that they make salt lamps now.
Below you will see a Himalayan salt lamp - but our bodies are not just lamps - The Word states that our bodies are also temples of the
Ruakh HaQodesh.
1 Corinthians 6:19
“Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Qodesh Spirit within you, whom you have from Elohim?
This means we are a light temple
seasoned with salt.
